Diego De la Garza, a Project Analyst and Liaison to Latin American Markets at Source One Management Services, LLC, will provide two, one-hour webinars for the Universidad La Salles (ULSA) School of Business in Mexico City, Mexico on October 19 and 26, 2012, entitled Whats on the Horizon? This is his fourth time presenting to ULSA students and staff. The remote video conference will provide a professional perspective on business and career development to two selected groups of International Business and Finance majors.

Business students at ULSA are the cream of the crop in Mexico and I look forward to sharing my professional development experience with them. As an alumnus, I plan to provide a real world perspective of the challenges and opportunities that young professionals currently encounter and strategies to enhancing their skills and abilities to face those challenges and embrace new opportunities, said De la Garza, who was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by Universidad La Salle in 2011.

Universidad La Salle, founded in 1962, is a private institution of higher education with fifteen campuses in Mexico and is strongly tied with La Salle University in Philadelphia, P.A and several other universities worldwide. De la Garza, a resident of Philadelphia, actively helps Source Ones clients in a variety of supply chain activities with a heavy focus on reducing corporations costs of procured products and services. He is involved with both national and international projects including finding and developing business opportunities for collaboration between corporations across North America, more particularly between the U.S and Latin America.

As the Liaison to Latin American Markets, De la Garza has coordinated multiple presentations with Source One regarding the concept and possibilities of nearshoring, the recent phenomenon of businesses relocating the acquisition of products closer to the United States. He and executives from Source One have presented to the University of LaSalle, Mexico Citys School of Business as well as multiple universities, businesses, and government officials in Manzanillo, Mexicos largest port city. http://www.sourceoneinc.com/near_shore_strategic_sourcing.html

Prior to joining Source One, De la Garza served as International Markets Liaison for a start-up company where he was responsible for adapting and integrating innovative business models into the North American market. Previously, he served as Department Coordinator for a major sports arena in Philadelphia where he was responsible for organizing and supervising collaborative projects across department heads and representatives of the NBA, NHL and related partners.

De la Garza holds a dual Master of Business Administration degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA with specializations in Management and Finance. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Trade from ULSA in Mexico City, Mexico.
